The History of Rossmore Vet Hospital
Rossmore vet commenced operations in Jan 1986, and a purpose build hospital was completed in Jan 1987.
Rossmore Veterinary Centre first opened its doors in January 1986, starting from humble beginnings before expanding into a purpose-built hospital, which was completed in January 1987. Our founding team consisted of two dedicated veterinarians who quickly established themselves as trusted care providers in the local community.

Whether you have a dog, cat, rabbit, reptile, or livestock, our experienced team provides exceptional veterinary care throughout Rossmore and our neighbouring suburbs of Bringelly, Camden, Green Valley, Hoxton Park, Kemps Creek, Leppington, Narellan, Oran Park, and Prestons. Today, Rossmore Vet Hospital’s dedicated team includes 10 veterinarians and 35 skilled staff members, all committed to maintaining the health and wellbeing of both farm animals and household pets. Our comprehensive approach ensures every animal, regardless of size or species, receives the highest standard of care.The demand for vet services continues to increase as the population of the surrounding areas grows.
The hospital offers a wide variety of services, both medical and surgical. Many vets at Rossmore are highly experienced and have been in the profession for 30-50 years.
We also have fresh young veterinarians who bring enthusiasm and an eagerness to increase their skills. They are assisted by a highly skilled and dedicated nursing team, many of whom have reached middle age, having worked at Rossmore Vet since leaving school.
The entire staff are committed to the best possible care and attention to the animals treated.
More recently, the animal holding facilities have been utilised by pounded animals and we are pleased to be able to assist these animals in finding new owners.
